Position Overview:

The Technical Training Support associate will assist and support the technical training team members by providing classroom logistics, data entry and training material creation support. They will operate in a fast-paced team orientated learning environment, with the ability to handle multiple activities that directly provide value to classroom trainers and students alike. They will be proficient in necessary technologies to facilitate training and business activities. Support staff will also utilize the SIA Learning Management System (LMS) and be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality of associates personal information. This position reports directly to the Technical Training Manager but will also receive guidance from the Technical Training Specialist.

 

Outline of duties:

  • Essential Job Functions
  • Manage classroom rosters and coordinate student and manager communications.
  • Provide LMS data entry support.
  • Update training metrics board on designated schedule.
  • Assist in developing training aids, including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference material.
  • Performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs.
  • Assist in classroom set-up and tear-down.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree or certification required/Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum 2 years relevant experience.

 

Desired Qualifications:


Required Bachelor's degree required OR associate degree plus 5-10 years relevant experience.
