Eligibility:
- Only Full-Time SIA Production Associates currently working in the Materials are eligible to apply.
- Team Leaders are not eligible to apply for this posting

Brief Description of Duties:
- Collaborate with Shop Management, Engineering, Maintenance, etc. on model change line layout(s), designs, etc.
- Study initial line designs and collaborate with key stakeholders to confirm safety, ergonomics, quality, and staffing utilization.
- Assist in line trials and cycle time confirmations.
- Assist with the countermeasure of design issues alongside engineering and production.
- Develop training documentation and assist with training activity to assigned section.
- Work, alongside a team, to complete manufacturing processes towards the final assembly of Subaru vehicles.
- Participate in Safety, Environmental, and Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) activities.
- All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word)
- Strong technical writing skills
- Knowledge in reading and interpreting blueprints/engineering drawings.
- Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes.
- A “RESUME” is required to move forward in this process.

|
Desirable Qualifications:
- Previous experience in basic fabrication.
- Experience working with manufacturing equipment including install jigs, air-powered/electric tooling, etc.
|
|
Notes:
- Must meet minimum qualifications to continue in the process. (i.e., resume / interviews)
- Associate will return to the same section and shift once the project is complete.
