SIA Military Direct Hire Program: 2nd Shift Production Associate Positions (Entry)

Job Duties:

  • Perform assembly line tasks as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
  • Work, alongside a team, to assemble entire products or components of Subaru vehicles.
  • Rotate through stations for specific production processes.
  • Conduct quality inspections on products and parts.
  • Prepare finished products for shipment to other SIA Sections.
  • Know the functions of specific parts being installed.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Must be active in Safety, Environmental, and Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Initiate, document, and participate in company-wide Kaizen projects.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two (2) Consecutive years of Active Duty Military Service*
  • Must be a recently separated veteran (within four (4) years of Active Duty Military Service)
  • Ability to work 2nd Shift Hours (Generally, 4:30PM to 1:00AM)
  • Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Must be a self-directed, motivated individual.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an Automotive Manufacturing environment. 
  • Previous experience with 5S3D and Kaizen Initiatives.
