Outline of duties:
This role is responsible for analyzing requirements and system capabilities, meeting frequently with various parties to ensure that all needs are addressed, and that people, process, and technology are aligned in supporting the efficient administration of SIA's manufacturing operations. Serves as finance’s technical lead, liaising heavily with SIA’s IS department. Provides on-going support for finance in SAP, implementing new technologies, keeping current with best practices, and keeping SIA on the curve. Provides support to help Finance adapt to the ongoing, cross-functional needs across the plant's departments: Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, etc.
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide implementation and application functional and technical support in the module areas of Financial Controlling, General Ledger/Cost Center Accounting, Asset Accounting, Material Ledger, Financial Reporting, and related areas.
- Stay up to date with SAP best practices and system capabilities and align these with business processes and objectives to deliver competitive advantages.
- Work with solution integrators, corporate Finance and IT teams, and business process owners to plan, implement, and test SAP implementations, system/process improvements and technical updates
- Develop expertise in relevant business areas and ensure that the system supports the current and future needs of the business.
- Lead or conduct requirements management activities, as necessary, ensuring that the impact of changes is well understood and approved by the appropriate stakeholders within the organization, and that company level activities are considered.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with all related business and technical areas. Be a trusted partner to Finance, Information Systems, and other customers.
- Develop and deliver clear communications to a variety of audiences. Foster open communication with all stakeholders.
- Plan, prioritizes, sequence, and manage portfolio of work to maximize delivery of business value while considering stakeholder and business time commitments.
- Utilizes standard reporting tools to write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data. Develops standard reports for ongoing customer needs and ad hoc queries as needed, working with staff to identify information requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance/Accounting, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related subject
- 5+ years SAP experience, with at least 3 in a similar role to this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project management skills, certifications.
- Presentation and change management experience.
