Outline of Potential Duties:


1. Develop production plan options and strategies based on specific constraint inputs from internal and external sources.

2. Analyze various scenarios for line speed, overtime, weekend production and capacity increases. 

3. Generate daily, monthly, and annual production plans that meet sales divisions request and customer needs.

4. Develop systems, processes, and databases to capture and visualize constraints and production projections.  Report out using information as required.

5. Track budget and authorization for direct and indirect manning resources.  Analyze resource requests for justification and need.

6. Audit actual head count in production areas and compare to authorization / budget.

7. Investigate Kaizens to manufacturing processes to reduce resource requirements.  Develop proposals and justification for potential head count reductions. Learn and utilize Simulation software to model production processes and evaluate proposed options.

8. Develop and improve systems to track and report resource requirements, budget, and authorization.  Improvements include methods to capture budget and authorization requests from individual Manufacturing sections.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Systems, or field related to Manufacturing. 
  • Strong software skills in Excel, Access, SQL, and Visual Basic.
  • Background or knowledge of Manufacturing systems and processes.  Prior experience in automated Manufacturing industry desired.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Master's degree in Engineering or Technology field related to Manufacturing or M.B.A. with Engineering or Technical undergraduate degree.
  • 10+ years in Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Background in Computer Simulation software programming and analysis a plus.
