SIA has grown tremendously since its 1989 beginnings and continues to be an example of success within the automotive industry.

 

Outline of Duties:

  • Direct management of salaried Trim and Final Group Leaders and indirect management of the Section's hourly Associates.
  • Oversee and support daily staffing needs
  • Management and oversight of Section TPM, Kaizen and Training activities
  • Ensure compliance to all SIA policies and procedures
  • Responsibility for Safety of all Associates in section
  • Support all budget planning/controls
  • Other duties as assigned by Section Management

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership, Management, or related field.
  • Previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing facility
  • Proven communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience in Automotive Manufacturing Management
  • Experience in Trim and Final Operations

 

Travel:

 

This role requires minimal travel. Occasional travel may be required mainly for off-site training or business collaboration purposes including potential overseas travel.
