Product Manager – SQA Mass Production

Quality Control Department

Position Summary:

The Product Manager, SQA Mass Production manages and leads the inspection of incoming quality of supplied parts used by mass production manufacturing shops.

Outline of duties:

• Provides direct management of salaried Group Leaders and indirect management of the Section's hourly Associates and Engineering Staff.
• Oversee the development of investigation strategies.
• Oversee and support daily staffing needs.
• Responsibility for Section inspection processes to ensure quality targets are met.
• Management and oversight of Section TPM, Kaizen and Training activities.
• Ensure compliance to all SIA policies and procedures.
• Responsibility for Safety of all Associates in section.
• Support all budget planning/controls.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, related field, or equivalent combination of relavent experience and education
• Four years of relevant experience including previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing facility
• Willingness and ability to rotate between 1st and 2nd shift assignments on a schedule or as needed 

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in relavent field
• Previous management experience in automotive manufacturing
• Previous experience within project management field
