Outline of duties:

 

  • Direct management of salaried Powertrain Group Leaders and indirect management of the Section’s hourly Associates.
  • Oversee and support daily staffing needs
  • Management and oversight of Section TPM, Kaizen and Training activities
  • Ensure compliance to all SIA policies and procedures
  • Responsibility for Safety of all Associates in section
  • Support all budget planning/controls
  • Other duties as assigned by Section Management

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership, Management, or related field.
  • Previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing facility
  • Proven communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to prepare and perform presentations for all relevant subjects
  • Willingness and ability to rotate between 1st and 2nd shift assignments on a schedule or as needed.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience in Automotive Manufacturing Management
  • Experience in Powertrain Operations
