Product Manager, Body Assembly

Manufacturing Department – Body Assembly

Outline of duties:

• Provides direct support in the day-to-day coaching and leading of section.
• Manages and oversees section TPM, Kaizen, Training activities, and KPIs.
• Ensures compliance to all SIA policies and procedures.
• Responsible for development of Section strategies and targets to support all initiatives.
• Supports all budget planning, controls.
• Studies the manufacturing processes and identifies opportunities for process improvement or efficiency optimization.
• Responsible for safety of all Associates in section
• Oversee and support daily staffing needs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership, Industrial Manufacturing, related field, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
• Four years of relevant experience including previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing facility
• Willingness and ability to rotate between 1st and 2nd shift assignments on a schedule or as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Experience with developing project scope, creating and managing project schedule, and budget.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in relevant field
• Previous management experience in automotive manufacturing
