Outline of duties:
- Assist with leading model development planning and reporting for department
• Preparation of periodic reports for department to other departments and senior management
• Consolidate and present periodic future model investment estimates to department leadership and senior management
• Facilitate DCR processing for select model series
• Conduct studies of competitor models for trends
• Investigate technologies to assist with improving SQCD
• Other duties as requested by management
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4 year business or engineering degree in a related field or equivalent experience in industry
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others and manage schedules
• Exhibited development and control of project master schedules and milestones
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to summarize and present project status and issues to management.
• Experience leading cross functional teams to discuss project status and resolve multi section issues
• Previous experience with model development activities
• Must be able to attend regular evening TV meetings with SBR
Desired Qualifications:
- Industrial Experience - Engineering (Process or Equipment) experience in automated manufacturing environment
- Experience with developing / managing cost improvement activities (manning reductions, parts cost reductions, etc.)
- Experience in Automotive Industry. Basic understanding of Automotive manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Knowledge of Automotive structure, parts, design, and new technologies (spot welding, paint process, automated measuring).
- MS Project experience preferred
