Position Summary:

The Manager of Paint, Production Manufacturing manages and leads the activities for SIA’s Production Manufacturing section to accomplish manufacturing targets/goals, budgeted financial objectives, and customer requirements. This role is responsible for driving manufacturing excellence in support of short and long-term objectives and strategies.

Outline of Duties:

• Manages and leads manufacturing operations and activities for assigned section.
• Oversee, direct, and support section staffing including hourly and salaried positions.
• Oversees section TPM, Kaizen, and training activities.
• Ensure compliance with all SIA policies and procedures.
• Implement, improve, and/or maintain section Tier 3 procedures which support company Tier 2 documents and ensure section activities support KPI targets.
• Responsible for development of section strategies and targets to support all initiatives.
• Ensure cross functional task teams have support and guidance.
• Develop and manage section capital, expense, and labor budgets.
• Studies manufacturing processes and identifies opportunities for process improvement or efficiency optimization.
• Provides continuous training opportunities for all staff members to promote future development and growth.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership, Industrial Technology, or a related field
• Five years of relavent experience including previous supervisory experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Previous experience within project management field
• Previous experience working in automotive manufacturing
