Maintenance Technician



SIA is looking for Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technicians to oversee the installation and maintenance of our industrial equipment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment. This will include, but is not limited to, installing new equipment, performing regular services and maintenance procedures, continuous improvement, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.

To ensure success as a Maintenance Technician, you should have advanced mechanical, electrical, and controls knowledge of industrial machinery, excellent troubleshooting skills, and good time-management skills.


Essential Functions: 

  • Ability to perform all aspects of a multi-skilled Maintenance Associate including, but not limited to, electrical, electronic, PLC, controls, mechanical, etc
  • Perform corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance on all equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues using schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Initiate, document, and participate in company-wide Kaizen projects.
  • Ability to perform maintenance tasks that will require work at a multitude of elevations in the plant.
  • Must be active in Safety, Environmental, and Continuous Improvement activities
  • Participation in additional technical training opportunities including


Desired Qualifications:

  • Maintenance or related degree (may substitute for experience) 
  • Documented completion of training in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or PLC areas
  • Experience in an Automotive Manufacturing environment
  • Experience in Robotics and/or Automated Manufacturing environment


Minimum qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Skilled in the repair of electrical, mechanical, PLC driven, and automated equipment
  • Strong team orientation
  • Must be a self-directed, motivated individual
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance
  • Ability to successfully troubleshoot equipment using root cause analysis techniques
  • Successful completion of skills assessment
