Outline of duties:

 

  • Champion the implementation of new logistic systems. Manage multiple small and medium size projects.
  • Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g., warehouse-slotting, route planning, systems integration).
  • Monitor current processes to improvement opportunities to increase accuracy and operator efficiency.  Seek opportunities to integrate improvements into future project/model development.
  • Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into project development, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
  • Conduct continual analysis of current supply operations to determine proper application of improved supply methods or approved industry techniques.
  • Develop and maintain the internal logistics engineering standards, knowledge, and tools.  Assure their implementation in existing and new operations.
  • Lead complex group projects and drive progress to plan, as well as networking in cross-functional and international teams
  • Provide technical supply support advice, guidance, and assistance on supply operations to management

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relatable experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Project Management experience with capability to develop, lead, prioritize work, manage, and report status of projects. 
  • Ability to multi-task successfully without sacrificing quality or accuracy.  Can perform daily duties independently. 
  • Detailed knowledge of Logistics processes, warehouse management, packaging, transportation, and conveyance. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications (Excel, Word, Outlook); proficiency in ACAD.
  • Occasional domestic and/or international travel required.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • BS degree in Industrial Engineering or Logistics and Supply Chain Management. 
  • 5+ years of experience in a logistics or related industry
  • Experience with data mining, automation, and examining large volumes of data.
  • Ability to apply work measurements to create warehouse operation cost and standards.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Experience in logistics/warehousing and experience with WMS & TMS Systems.
  • Multi-disciplinary experience in process or equipment engineering.  Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks and/or CATIA.
  • Proficiency in MS Access 
  • Proven knowledge of inventory management.
  • Strong analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude.
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g., Inventory planning, warehouse management).
