Outline of duties:

  • Serves as a liaison between Human Resources and Information Systems to provide systems support and analysis, and to leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of HR and Users of HR information systems.
  • Partners with various teams as a subject matter expert to solicit, analyze, and document business requirements and translate into technical specifications.
  • Proactively looks for opportunities to improve processes, procedures, and increase efficiencies.
  • Trains and mentors users on the proper use of HR systems
  • Creates recurring and ad-hoc reports to support business needs and meet compliance requirements.
  • Participates in testing of HRIS systems, including implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Works with end users to establish checks and controls to ensure data and system integrity is maintained.
  • Acts as a change advocate during implementation of upgrades, enhancements, or fixes.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert during HRIS design, development, documentation, and training.
  • Collaborates with various parties for process and technology optimization.
  • Develops testing and training documentation.
  • Provides daily support for HR systems, including researching and resolving problems, troubleshooting unexpected results, and recommending solutions or alternate methods.
  • Integrates SAP SuccessFactors with SAP HCM and other related HR and non-HR technology platforms and processes.
  • Coordinates with technical resources to develop interfaces or batch processes as required.
  • Contributes to development of HR technology, data, and process roadmaps.
  • Partners with HR leaders to prepare system and data to support HR processes.
  • Works to understand customer needs and quantify appropriate actions.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field plus at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Skills and Knowledge Required
  • Excellent communication skills in writing, speaking, and presenting.
  • Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects while adhering to conflicting deadlines.
  • Technical aptitude, requirements management, and the ability to assess and articulate risk.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and work with sensitive and confidential subject matter.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all department levels.
  • Ability to establish collaborative relationships with HR business partners based on deep system knowledge, professionalism, and dependability.
  • Strong consulting and communication skills to provide recommendations and options to meet business needs.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Self-starter, able to quickly absorb new ideas and respond to change.
  • Knowledge of principles (including governing laws and regulations) and procedures for recruiting, interviewing, selection, training, retention, and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
  • MS Office, including advanced Excel skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field plus at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of HR and Total Rewards concepts and philosophies (i.e., HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll).
  • Experience in data-driven methods, using data analytics to develop insights and drive strategies and programs.
