HRIS Analyst
This is an onsite role - remote is not an option, at this time.
The HRIS Analyst will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Information Systems Team in support of the long-term strategy of the organization. This position will serve as a technical point of contact and subject matter expert for HR systems and processes. This includes system integration, data integrity, data analysis and reporting, testing, training, and consultation.
Primary responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between Human Resources and Information Systems to provide systems support and analysis, and to leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of HR and Users of HR information systems
- Partner with various teams as a subject matter expert to solicit, analyze, and document business requirements and translate into technical specifications
- Proactively look for opportunities to improve processes, procedures, and increase efficiencies
- Train and mentor users on the proper use of HR systems
- Create recurring and ad-hoc reports to support business needs and meet compliance requirements
- Participate in testing of HRIS systems, including implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
- Work with end users to establish checks and controls to ensure data and system integrity is maintained
- Act as a change advocate during implementation of upgrades, enhancements, or fixes
- Serve as a subject matter expert during HRIS design, development, documentation, and training
- Collaborate with various parties for process and technology optimization
- Develop testing and training documentation
- Provide daily support for HR systems, including researching and resolving problems, troubleshooting unexpected results, and recommending solutions or alternate methods
- Integrate SAP SuccessFactors with SAP HCM and other related HR and non-HR technology platforms and processes
- Coordinate with technical resources to develop interfaces or batch processes as required
- Contribute to development of HR technology, data, and process roadmaps
- Partner with HR process leaders to prepare system and data to support cyclical HR processes
- Understand customer needs and quantify appropriate actions
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Business, or other applicable field and 3+ years of HR systems experience. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working simultaneously on multiple projects and adhering to conflicting deadlines
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all department levels
- Ability to maintain discretion and work with sensitive and confidential subject matter
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with SuccessFactors (Employee Central, Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance and Goals, LMS, Succession Planning, Compensation, Workforce Analytics) and SAP HCM
- Experience as change management advocate
- Technical aptitude, requirements management, and the ability to assess and articulate risk
- Ability to establish collaborative relationships with HR business partners based on deep system knowledge, professionalism, and dependability
- Experience deploying new systems and integrating existing applications
- Strong consulting and communication skills to provide recommendations and options to meet business needs
- Self-starter with the ability to quickly absorb new ideas and respond to change
