Outline of duties:

 

  • Assist in managing plant capital budget processes.
  • Assist in administering department expense budget processes.
  • Assist in managing plant asset control activities.
  • Develop budget and training group staff.
  • Lead and develop CAP program staff.
  • Collect, interpret, organize, analyze, and report capital budget for plant to multiple parties.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • 4-year business or engineering degree in a related field or equivalent experience in industry
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others and manage multiple schedules.
  • Strong background in SAP systems
  • Ability to analyze and present complex financial data.
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task
  • High degree of self-motivation
  • Above average communication skills- good written, verbal communication skills to communicate with multiple parties.
  • Must be able to work weekday and weekend overtime as needed.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Previous experience in a budget control supervisory position
  • Experience in automotive or component manufacturing budgetary systems
  • Previous experience leading and developing staff members.
  • Knowledge of IFRS & GAAP budget rules and theory
  • Ability to explain budget and financial information in plain terms.
