Overview

 

The Associate Services Group Leader is responsible for leading the Associate Services Section of the HR Department, which consists of 4-5 Associates in programs that increase Associate engagement, recruitment, and retention.  This role will develop and execute strategic plans aimed at improving and maintaining Associate engagement in alignment with organizational KPI’s.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and oversight to the Associate Services Section.
  • Collaborate with other sections and oversee non-production facility capital and expense projects that lead to improvements in Associate retention and the enhanced recruitment efforts of new employees. 
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
  • Prepare and manage large Department Capital Budget
  • Oversee building facilities for SIA Child Development Center, Health and Wellness Center, and Recreation Center.
  • Serve as Associate Services Budget Controller
  • Manage Furniture/Appliance Program at SIA
  • Supervise and review the administration of all of SIA’s vehicle incentive programs including SIA Vehicle Purchase Program, Special Lease Program, Vehicle Rebate Program and Friends and Family Referral Program, SIA Annual Tent Sale and Used Vehicle Sales.
  • Guide the planning and delivery of associate engagement and recognition events including Associate Appreciation Day, Breakfast with Santa, and SIA annual service awards celebrations.
  • Support conference room functionality, including technological resources as appropriate.
  • Oversee any contracted Associates
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or other related field of study or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including effective management and communication skills.
  • Excellent team-collaboration skills including experience with dealing with multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Maintains knowledge of HR industry best practices and current trends and participates in continuous professional development opportunities.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or other related field of study.
  • Strong relationship skills with all levels of people in the organization.
