Outline of duties:
- Supervise & lead maintenance activities of a group of maintenance Associates.
- Analyze current failures, equipment breakdowns & PM activities to reduce risk of equipment malfunctions & breakdown which impact the overall efficiency of the section.
- Coordinate with production and engineering requirements to support productivity goals.
- Other duties include direct supervision of Associates, coordination of manning levels, making Associate assignments & activities, ensure safe working conditions of Associates & equipment, control budgets & parts inventories, ensure compliance of company policies, procedures & rules, apply appropriate corrective action when necessary, develop & maintain maintenance activity reports, manage & control overtime, and conduct shift meetings.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 - 5 years Industrial Maintenance in a manufacturing facility.
- High level of self-motivation.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills.
- 1 - 3 years Leadership experience working in a team-based environment.
- Required skills to include knowledge of all jobs within the work group, PC based office applications, Windows, MS Office, and PLC systems.
- Ability to Lead, develop, implement, and maintain all predictive and preventive maintenance activities within the department.
- Ability to read and understand Drawings, Prints and Schematics
Desired Qualifications:
- Mitsubishi PLC Experience
- Previous work experience in mechanical & electrical concepts & Automated equipment
- Automated assembly line experience
- Friction Roller Drive and Power & Free Conveyor Systems
- Basic Knowledge of SAP Maintenance System and Parts inventory Control
- Basic Knowledge of Project Management and Budget control
- B.S. Degree in a related field of study
