Outline of duties:

  • Monitor daily operations of facility electrical system.
  • Create and maintain "New Electrical Load" request procedure.
  • Maintain "Redundancy" condition for all substations.
  • Determine additional Substation needs.
  • Determine "original" equipment replacement timing.
  • Assist with Building Engineering day to day operations & project management.
  • Create an inhouse Arc Flash system to comply with NEC standard.
  • Assist with existing Substation preventative maintenance.
  • Create an in house electrical Infrared Scanning P/M program
  • Create an ongoing low and medium voltage switchgear training program.
  • Act as a technical resource within the building engineering department
  • Work closely with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
  • Experience in the Electrical field
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask, a constant learner and able to remain calm when dealing with a crisis.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Auto CAD experience.
  • Arc Flash experience.
  • High level knowledge of low, medium voltage
  • Project Management experience
