Company Overview: Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. or “SIA”, located in Lafayette, Indiana, is the only Subaru vehicle manufacturing facility outside of Japan. SIA is the safest automotive manufacturing plant in the United States and is also a staple in the community due to its numerous fundraising activities held onsite, donations to local charities and plentiful volunteer opportunities. SIA is a frontrunner in environmental conservation being the first Zero-Landfill automotive manufacturing plant and the first to have its campus designated a backyard wildlife habitat. SIA has grown tremendously since its 1989 beginnings and continues to be an example of success within the automotive industry.
Outline of duties:
- Section Budget Coordinator - Monitor expense budget usage. Order and maintain section consumable items. Prepare annual budget requirements.
- Section ISO Coordinator - Ensure section is compliant with latest ISO procedures and training has been completed. Prepare section for ISO internal and external audits.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly Quality Reports. Ensure data submitted is 100% accurate.
- Expert level knowledge of Power BI quality tracking system. Utilize system to efficiently and accurately pull data and distribute reports throughout the organization.
- Act as section liaison to Environmental and Safety groups. Track IPC section environmental and safety kaizen submissions. Submit status reports to section management.
- Coordinate travel for section.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and 5 ~ 7 years relevant experience
- Highly proficient in MS Office Programs and SAP - Expertise in Excel data processing and charting is important.
- Ability to analyze and use data to drive improvement activity and cost reduction.
- Must be organized and reliable.
- Must be able to communicate well verbally and through written reports.
- Must be Self-motivated with high initiative.
Desired Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Business Management field and 3 ~ 5 years’ experience
- Previous budget control experience
- Ability to analyze data and build technical reports.
- Applicable knowledge of ISO systems and procedures
