Outline of duties:

  • Administration, configuration, and help implement ServiceNow (IT Service Management, and IT Operations Management - Discovery).
  • Administration of Windows Server 2012/2016/2019.
  • Active Directory administration.
  • Management of server, storage, and virtualization environments.
  • Management, administration, and deployment of VMware vSphere 6.0+ and vCenter.
  • Understand and maintain Microsoft; Active Directory Domain Services, DFS, DFS-R, DNS, DHCP and GPOs.
  • Administration of Cloud platform technologies.
  • Designing, testing and administration of Backup/DR plans including site replication.
  • Administration and experiencing Microsoft WSUS and Microsoft patch management for servers.
  • Installation and configuration of different compute/storage platforms including primary/secondary storage SANs and Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI).
  • Administration of Office 365 and Exchange administration.
  • Experience with automating and scripting server tasks with PowerShell.
  • VDI technologies and supporting software packages (VMWare Horizon/View, Azure WVD, App Volumes,
  • DEM, etc...)
  • Centralized monitoring of systems and logging using tools such as Solarwinds and VMware
  • vRealize/vROps.
  • Willingness to train and document processes for others on the team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, 5 years of System Administration experience, experience using ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM or another enterprise IT Service Management system
  • Excellent communication and problem solving
  • Ability to multitask.
  • A constant learner and able to remain calm when dealing with a crisis.
  • Excellent focus on customer service.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of System Administration experience and Azure administration
  • Experience with implementing/configuring and administering ServiceNow, ServiceNow Development, Office 365 Administration, Microsoft Certified System Administrator
  • VMware Certification, CompTIA Server+ Certified, Project management experience
  • Excellent communication skills, excellent people skills, excellent problem-solving skills, ability to multitask, a constant learner and able to remain calm when dealing with a crisis.
