Overview of Position Responsibilities:
 

The Manager, Associate Development will lead a team of 6 to 10 Human Resources professionals, providing management oversight for all matters related to SIA's recruiting, onboarding, performance management, talent development & management, employee engagement, and change management activities.  A key focus of this position is on proactively addressing the people implications of the organization's current and future needs. 

 

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include crafting strategic and tactical plans to build talent pipelines, to formulate and assess career development plans, to ensure SIA's hiring, onboarding and management procedures are effective and designed to prepare SIA for the evolving needs of the labor market, to lead recruitment marketing, to analyze the effectiveness of HR procedures and tools, and to ensure HR plans align with the organization's mission and business goals and objectives.

 

The successful candidate will be someone who has proven experience in managing transformational change, achieving workflow efficiencies, and exercising the leadership necessary to foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, continuous improvement and ongoing learning and development of a fully engaged staff.  The role will require the successful candidate to be fully cognizant and capable to provide counsel to the most senior leaders in a complex and challenging environment across a full range of employment matters.

  • Work experience as an experienced Human Resources Manager with proven results
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning
  • In-depth knowledge of all HR functions
  • Hands-on experience with HR software (HRIS, Workday, SuccessFactors or comparable products)
  • Superior leadership abilities including experience in transformational leadership 
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Analytical and data management skills with the ability to translate data into action planning

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or relevant field;
  • At least five (5) years experience in leadership, management or supervision with demonstrated progressive increase in scope of responsibility
  • Exceptional critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in change management
  • Proficiency in SAP and SuccessFactors
