Position Summary:
The Material Logistics Analyst is responsible for carrying out activities related to logistics, supply chain engineering and cost planning, maintenance of cost and process data while also considering impact to other related supply chain activities (inventory, packaging, supplier, warehouse etc.).
Outline of Duties:
The essential functions described below are intended to broadly define the expectations of the role.
- Develop, lead, manage, and report cost status of logistics projects.
- Audit and process invoices for payments received from logistics vendors.
- Work with vendors / suppliers on invoice payments.
- Create and maintain accurate reporting of cost.
- Utilize several different systems for payment processing and reporting.
- Create and analyze Logistics, warehouse management, packaging, transportation, and conveyance processes.
- Create and maintain cost data reports towards a long-term cost planning system that supports SIA’s budgeting process.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, or related field or equivalent
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, or related field plus 2 or more years of relevant experience
- Experience supporting budgeting process
- Experience utilizing PowerBI and SAP
Work Hours:
This role generally works in alignment with production hours and is subject to overtime to meet demands of production, which may include scheduled weekends, shutdowns, and daily overtime to meet department goals and deadlines. This role does not currently allow for remote work opportunities.
Travel:
This role requires minimal travel. Occasional travel may be required mainly for off-site training or business collaboration purposes including potential overseas travel.
